Cocteu Twins. Came very close last year. Announced live dates and everything. All went to shit though and will now apparently never happen.
New Order. Maybe The Cocteau Twins. I don't think anyone else has anything timely or relevant to present. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see.

would love to see that, but not quite sure if Mal's ready to leave Australia to get back on the music treadmill.

May as well, that was a great album, still is,and Billie Ray Martin didn't exactly set the world alight with her solo career.
The one group i would like to see reform,if only to see them play stuff from their first 4 albums would have to be Big Audio Dynamite. I loved them when i was a teenager, had the B.A.D. baseball cap an all that!
I've only just noticed this thread. I agree that Electribe 101 would be good for a comeback, however didn't they have a massive row when recording demos for the unreleased second album which resulted in Billie Ray Martin going solo and the others carrying on as The Groove Corporation - don't know of anything they've done. I didn't actually know BAD had split up but I liked them back in the day and it would be interesting to hear something new from them. Cheers!![]()
I heard Information Society is getting back together. Whether that is what people want remains to be seen.
Scary part is who the bassist is....Eddie Van Halen's 15 year old son!!! Original bassist Michael Anthony had sense to sit out
Tho to extend it....Jack you got hope, dude
Meh, time to put some bloody American two cents now...
Bands that would make my life stellar if they reformed...
--New Order. 'Nuff said. --Stone Roses. --The Smiths. [Come on Mozz, get the f*ck over the quarelling with you and Marr and get back together and GO ON A FRECKIN' TOUR!!!] --Bauhaus--wait, they already did/are. --R.E.M.
...when my mind's not so fooked up I'll think of more.

adorable? the best selling band on creation before oasis came aolong? they did do a one off gig at a family wedding in 97 or 98 i think it was, at least one of them is now far more into dance music than their stuff though.
as for pwei - didn't they already do a reunion tour? surely if a band ever sold more t shirts than reccards it was them!

This post makes little sense for many reasons but I've narrowed them down to the following three:
Three of the bands listed haven't actually split up.
It's an(other) American typing like a Northerner (bloody, fooked etc.) and not entirely convincingly either. Jennifer could definitely give ChrissMari a run for her money in the fake Norverner stakes

The looped Ian animation in her sig has me pissing myself each time I see it, anyone else too?
