Right 1.3am going to bed.......................
Experiment.........bet I will wake without prompting at 5.
Usually 10.30-5.30 or 6.00 Sunday-Thursday, but add a couple of hours forward at the weekend. I need at least 6, often 7 hours a day.
went up about 11.15 last night.
that was after Scotland v England from 1976 on ESPN. Scotland won. ![]()
up, bang on 6.30.
So about 6 or 7 hours average usually.
.
I could have ten or as little as 3 or 4,depends what the days been like. I've gone two days without sleep more than once!
I'm a terrible sleeper, it takes me ages to get to sleep and I really struggle getting out of bed in a morning, usually pressing the snooze button for at least an hour. I need at least 7 hours sleep or I can't function. I can't even nap during the day if I'm tired.
My Dad's the total opposite, he's never needed an alarm clock in his life, he only has to think what time he needs to be awake the day after and he's never been late to my knowledge.

same here. never used an alarm. just think about the time the night before.
not sure the "never been late" bit applies to me though.

Would like a steady 8,but never get anwhere near that usually. My best mate always never used an alarm clock for years, and got up at the same time, on time for work always, which I found quite incredible.. Then he started working shifts last year, and his body clock is now well and truely fucked like mine.. More alarmingly, research shows shiftworkers have on average, 7 years knocked off their life due to the strain on the heart of staying awake for unatural extended periods..
I regularly stay awake for 24 hour periods when I'm working nights, and you NEVER get used to them. After 11 years of shifts my youthful good looks have been replaced with some dark under eye circles..At least the nose is still big and getting bigger, cos that never stops apparently,so job's right

Get about 8 hours. Don't need an alarm clock, get up at seven on the dot every morning, bit of a nightmare when i've been on the piss tho![]()
I've been about 2-3 days without sleep now and then, still got up at 7 the next morning![]()
Started Nights last Thursday...
Friday - 4 hours kip Saturday - None. Sunday - None. Monday - 4 hours. Tuesday - 2 hours. Wednesday - None so far.
It is Wednesday today, isn't it ![]()
Will probably get about 3 hours later this evening.
Then finish at 7am on Thursday, stay up all day and go to the pub about 4pm. Should hit my pillow by midnight and try not to sleep all Friday.

Need about 8 or 9 hours.I worked shifts for 24 YEARS AND IT HAS TAKEN ITS toll.I am Knackered!![]()
5-6, mainly because I love staying up late at night. I function way better with 8, but can't get to tuck myself in at a respectable time.![]()
I usually sleep about 7 hours a night...and I'm a miserable bastard if I don't...
funny thing sleep is...while I was over there in October, it seems that I would wake up at 5 in the morning no matter what...that was a bit odd...even the morning after Blue Saturday, with all the beers...and not getting in until around 1, I still popped up straight at 5...the guy in the lobby of the hotel was even asleep at his post when I went down...
same with Wolves...but I've got no fucking idea what time I got in that evening...
I Love to sleep but the only time I get quality sleep is the night after a hangover. During the work week I average around 6 hours which is never enough. Occasionally, I'll take some Tylenol pm cough syrup. That's the only thing that completely knocks me out. The Tylenol Pm pills always seem to have the complete opposite effect for some reason.

On the road at 07.30. :dead: Hard work being an OOT ![]()
3.5 last night, mostly i need 6, i grab 8 if i can. i am a whack sleeper though and often wake up multiple times a nite. i can also tell myself what to dream.
It depends, especially with my new school schedule (9:00 class on MWF, 8:00 on TTH). I try and shoot for at least seven, with the caveat that I can always get a quick (or hour-long, depending on the situation) nap during the day because I have long gaps inbetween classes. ![]()
Perhaps holiday breaks should be shorter: I'm just getting used to being able to sleep until 9 in the morning and then I have to go back to getting up at Dark-Thirty ![]()
On average, about 6 to 7 for me a night, usually from 11 to 6 on M & TH, 10 to 5 on TU & F, and from 7 pm to 2 am on Wednesdays (tough to do that on warm summer evenings...
)
Before being on the sick, 6 hours were the average night (if not shorter) + extra hours on week-ends.
By now, I need 10 to 12 hours sleep (no kidding).

Montpellier sounds like Liverpool.
everyone's on the sick here. pays more than getting a job.
My favourite pastime ![]()
I like to get at least eight hours sleep a night but I rarely get that during the week.
Been a busy girl so haven't had nearly as much as I would have liked lately, but that's gonna change ![]()
If I'm lucky, I'll get 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Then it's either my wife or my kids that distrubs my sleep and I have to try again. On a bad night, both my kids wake up every 2 hours, one hour apart from each other. Arrrgg!! ![]()
Was working till 4.30 this morning,so i've had what 3.5 hours? Might get a couple more later!
4 hours on average.I'm always on here till the early hours "whipping" people on the COMMUNITY Chatroom!
I sleep about 6 hours a day on a school night and 10 on the weekends. Last week has been hectic because I had only 4 hours of sleep and got sick as a result. I feel better now.
