They're one of my favourite bands, but I think they should maybe call it a day. The music they're making now is coming across a bit pretentious (i.e Think Tank). What does everybody else think?

I'm of the opinion that Damon Albarn's work on the 'Ravenous' score far outweighs anything he's written as Blur or Gorillaz or anything else.

Never been too much into blur, but then I've never really tried to sit through an album more than once. Might be one of those bands that you need to hear a few times before you can really appreciate it? But find his Gorillaz strangely addictive....

Other than song#2, what else would help me appreciate blur anyways?

My Son was 'into' Gorrilaz for a while - that was awful. Blur is just a word I associate with the act..........here today, gone tomorrow. :evil4:

Now? They haven't had an album out in almost 5 years.

Apparently they are gonna reunite with Coxon and do one final album, but the last thing they did of note for me was Parklife 13 years ago.

THE GREAT ESCAPE was a top album too.BLUR was a hit & miss affair,BEETLEBUM ,SONG 2 and M.O.R. were the only highlights for me,even if M.O.R. is a rip off of Bowie's BOYS KEEP SWINGING. Didn't rate THINK TANK at all

Never rated 'em. Saw their first gig after they changed their name from Seymour, and they were crap. Handful of songs that I can listen to, that's about it.
