Why not just force married people to only have sex for procreation, and force everybody else to have sex without telling anybody behind closed doors and lie about it... oh, wait, thats what they have been doing for hundreds of years...

No offence but I think you guys have completely missed the point here. DOMA aren't serious about this. They're taking the mickey in order to make the powers-that-be take a good long look at themselves and their dumbass decisions.
