I wasn't after you listing 10 albums,i just wanted those 10 'out there'.

Endtroducing is, after a few listens excellent. Not fussed on the second one and haven't got round to the Outsder yet.

If anyone likes electronic music though,have a listen to the Sasha album. Its nothing like what you'll expect, its quite slow and ambient. Think along the likes of Royksopp.

Is this lad way too clever by 'alf, or just basically shite, a chancer who's got lucky? Finally stuck Entroducing, the Outsider and Private Repress on me iPod over Xmas thinking I was gonna be dead impressed but, whilst he gets a nice groove going on occasion, I found most of it just pretentious twaddle. Some of his stuff is excellent. I'd go for The Private Press over Endtroducing.

I was rather smug a few years back when all my mates were going on about the ace music that MoTD had started using during the goal of the month and I was able to say, "Oh, yeah, DJ Shadow, the CD's hardly been out of my machine for the last year"

Endtroducing was the first Completely Sampled Album or something. The only thing used to produce the whole album was a AKAI sampling drum machine, I think.

And his stuff with James Lavelle as U.N.K.L.E. is even better.
