Really looking forward to Life On Mars but I've still got a nagging feeling they should've just knocked it on the head at the end of the first series.
I really hope they don't ruin it with a handful of shitey episodes.
I can't wait for Hotel Babylon, loved the last series. Unfortunately I'm out Thursday so I'll have to hope my Video still works.

This series is going to be the last - the Radio Times has tried to suggest that the conclusion will be a surprise and what you thought it was about, err, wasn't. Or something.
Then Gene Hunt gets his own spin-off called Ashes To Ashes set in 1981.

I'm looking forward to more adventures with good old Sam and Gene tonight. However like you say ally I just hope they don't f*** it up with too much of the culture clash between by-the-book, politically correct Sam and sexist, possibly corrupt, hard drinking etc. Gene otherwise I'd sooner have had Sam wake up or plug pulled last year. Still I think were the story is heading Sam and Gene are looking to become more of a matey partnership like The Sweeney's Regan and Carter and hopefully leaving it at two series is the best way to go here.

Series 3 of Lost is showing serious signs of disappearing up it's own backside syndrome, the last great case of which was seen as early onset with the XFiles...

Me and Donato were discussing this yesterday. I struggle with just one episode at a time. Think I'm gonna have to lay off the new stuff for a few weeks then watch half a dozen on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's the best way to watch 'Lost'.
Having said that, haven't really been convinced by the 3rd series yet. Thought the opening 5mins in the first episode were the best and it's gone downhill since. It was good when everything was contained in one base camp but it's too fractured now.

I think you've struck on the best policy there... Better still I'd just watch the opening and closing 5 mins of every episode then you don't waste too much of your life on it. Hopefully season 4 will wrap things up other wise it's going to get very messy...

The first episode back after the break was good in that it de-mystified the 'others' a bit and hinted at a reason as to why they were on the island - but I agree entirely, it needs a conclusion. I'll struggle to keep watching if they drag it out for the rumoured seven series or whatever.
So Lost will be crap. We just had the first epp of series 3. At least I now have Heroes for a year or two before it turns to dung.

I watched both Bonkers and Benidorm for the first time last night. That's 1.5hrs of me life I'll never get back, the latter being particularly shite. Man Stroke Woman on BBC3 was alright though, all the birds in it are oddly attractive. Actually, no, perhaps not the Canadian.
Anyone see Preston's little strop this week? I thought it was on last night, seems it was Wednesday. Think it's repeated on the weekend though.
