The funniest thing he does on the show, surely?! Plus it's not as if Lamarr didn't dish out exactly the same sort of abuse.

I mean, who expects folk like Vanessa Feltz not to be abused in the name of comedy?

It's a given

I stopped watching it with Lamarr. Amstell's Preston fracas was quite hilarious. More of the same please.

Not seen the new person, but i hate Lmar's guts... any replacement has to be an improvement... The only person who makes it watchable for me is Bill Bailey.

Prefer the new lad to Lamarr. It's never been the same since Sean Hughes left though.

Lamaar for me, though the last couple of series he did were shite, too much focus on him, that's probably why he left.

Simon Amstell is a funny fucker. Mark Lamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar once stood behind me at a Jon Spencer Blues Explosion gig.

He didn't once fondle my buttocks, surprisingly.

Thought they both are good in this format but M L just shades it for me.:thumb:

Hooky has.

Can't remember Lamarr's exact introduction but he said something along the lines that Hooky would probably just sit there for ages before doing anything interesting ... just like most New Order songs.

He was on Phil Jupitus's team.

'twas only foir a year he said, 'cos he was bored with doing it. SO ye never now, he may be back soon, unless Amstell is too popular.

Who do you think? Gotta be my stunt double. Cant be bothered with the new lad. Too many scripted "ad-libs". At least Lammar sounded like he was making them up on the spot.

To diverge slightly.....who is the burd on Popworld that presents with that twat Alex Zane. Can't stand either of them and their "wacky" personas but you most defineately WOULD (the burd that is). Could someone who knows who she is post a photo? :thumb:

He was on Phil Jupitus's team.

It was repeated on VH1 a few weeks back. Lamarr's exact words were "He's the bassist from New Order, so by rights this introduction should go on for 3 minutes before anything interesting happens." Also on Hooky's team was Clare Grogan. :food:

ml is THE unfunniest man who ever walked the earth, seriously, a self satisfied wanker. has never once made me laugh, spends too much time trying to convince us that he hates celebrity, though he protests far too much. his voice is fuckin grating his nervous blink annoying and if i hear about how he once stood upt some ragga/rap star again then i will probably come back in here and rant about him again.
