Since, according to Mr Gore and the like, Global warming is caused by cars and mans other activities, and has nothing to do with nature......it seems beyond doubt that the martians are all bombing around in Range Rovers. Better get some trackers on them before Mars ends up with horrible effects like liquid water.
slashdot is as old as the net I think, not even sure why it's slashdot (/.) and not dotslash (./) which means home on real computers. I try to avoid it as it is usually a collection of stories about the evil of bill gates and the US govt, not written as that, they just ARE stories about that.....they tend to upset me, I've had the site taken off me by irritated colleagues more than once cos they couldn't stand me yelling "wanker" or just "WAAAAAT?" for no forewarned reason :(
Anyway, it's 2nd only to theregister for decent tech news, but nowhere NEAR as funny.
