Saw a trailer for a remake of the Hitcher yesterday arvo.

Starring Sean Bean!

Certain films should never be remade, and this is one of them. Can't even moan about the Yanks spoiling something. They've remade their own film, but now with a Yorkshireman in the lead.

In all fairness, i bought the original on dvd a couple of years back cos i thought it was good when i was younger. It didn't hold up too well 20 years later.

Not a bad film,till they made him near "indestructible" near the end.More creepy after his first close shave with Rutger Hauer.And this family passes him on the road in a big station wagon....with Rutger in it.
