I'd advise downloading Sound Of Silver before seeing them. Even at this late stage. Didn't do too many of the old songs. Losing My Edge has been dropped from the set. Played Daft Punk, Tribulations and the peerless Yeah. Still thought 3 or 4 of the new ones sounded good but I only knew NA Scum(which I'm not wild about).

They actually played Cargo in Londinium last week, would've been good to see them there but you couldn't even get a ticket off ebay.
Seeing them at the Astoria this week. Sound of Silver seems to be getting good reviews everywhere. Guess James Murphy is the hip name to drop at the moment?
Mate of mine's just sent me nearly the exact same review as yours! Also, from Mancland on Saturday.
"Went to see LCD Soundsystem on Saturday. They were good, although came on before 10 and only did 12 songs; and no 'losing my edge!' Finished with that slowie Lou Reedy 'New York I love you' , so was a strange and flat ending, really. And quick."
Are these the ones that sound like a mix of Royksopp and Heaven 17? Just seen the album advertised on tv but had the sound down!

That's possibly true. More often they sound like Talking Heads and Bowie and The Fall. Yeah(Crass Version) is the best dance record I've heard in the last 10 years and Live it's absolutely immense.
Encored with "No Love Lost" in Londinium last night. Jaw-dropping moment! 
Qualidee gig. Rolled up just as they took the stage cos GlasVegas and the Hibster were both in town (one on business, t'other to see Arcade Fire) so had a few ales down Argyll Street with them and Johnny Giles as a pre-match warm-up. Still hundreds outside the venue though, as LCD opened with "Us vs Them". Have never seen the Astoria so mobbed.
"North Amercan Scum" came early doors and the whole floor seemed to be pogoing for the back-to-back "Get Innocuous" and "Tribulations". Went all ACR on us for the last track "Yeah" with bongos and whistles, etc.
Pointless bit of Eno'esque knob-twiddling preceding the first encore, "Someone Great". Then we got a bit of Joy Divsion! And then they closed with that New York lament.
Cracking band. 
Gah! I knew should have gone to more than one date. Loving the album, would've been superb to have caught Someone Great, which we didn't get at Manc and I would have gone home with a massive grin if I'd heard No Love Lost.
I actually thought LCD couldn't go up any further in my estimation, and then they start doing JD tunes (and doing a good job, presumably?).
They're still not as good as The Rapture, mind (and the new LP sounds JUST like them fellas....)

Apparently they did a cover of Throw by Paperclip people the night before? But then, I wouldn't have recognised that if I'd heard it anyways.

It's segued into the end of Yeah, think they've done it at all the dates. Presumably they did do it last night and you didn't notice.
