Havnae counted since I was about 15, it was around the 350/360 mark. Guessing it would be about 250 these days, will have a go the morra night at 5-a-side. Uncly John can be the independant witness :thumb:

Edit : The record with my head was 51.

Wherever I went as a youngster, I had a mitre size 5 with me.

Never attempted a golf ball but done over 20 with a tennis ball.

The old trick was left foot, right foot, left knee, right knee, chest, left shoulder, right shoulder, back of neck, flip it up and volley at goal.

You could teach a 5 year old the John Barnes step over

the tennis ball was flat and needed pumping up.

so i wrapped some cardboard around the bird opposite me's head. lifted it off gently, then cellatped all around it. took it down stairs to the back of the building in what we call Chicago alley (dead windy), and still managed 30. ...before the wind grabbed it and took it to the skies.

I'd recommned Samoa for keepy ups, nice soft leather and very comfortable. I always used to think some lad by ours was better than me cos he had spoony fronted trabs. Think they were Wimbledon or Grand Prix.

Top Tip: I got better by practising not kicking the ball above knee height, just doing little dinks, saves time and energy. Oh and don't practise by the canal.

Never needed to do more than 3 in a match. Don't think I've ever done more than twenty or so even in training, never needed to. My game was always about accuracy of passing and finishing, and set pieces.

Those who can hit a beer can suspended by string six inches below the angle of post and bar 8 times out of 10 from 25 yards with a wall present, put yo hands up.
