Cricket World Cup 2007

India 191/10 (49.3), Bangladesh 192/5 (48.3)

Pakistan 132/10 (45.4), Ireland 133/7 (41.4)

Ireland and Bangladesh victorius....lol

Bangladesh do actually win the odd game so thats becoming less of a surprise. Ireland beating Pakistan is a shocker though.

As an Englishman I'm a bit worried about facing Kenya, cos they looked a class apart from the other minnows the other day, and managed to reach the semis last time.

It is good to see the minnows doing well.

Looks like Flintoff still thinks he's Olly Reed. Suspended but not to be sent home!

Classic comment from TMS listener "Freddie has been spotted practising his shots. Not pull shots or cover drives. Sambuca."

But getting done for sinking a Peddalo... :nono: At least Gower did it in style with the Tiger Moth...

... and now Bob Woolmer has been taken to hospital after being found collapsed in his room, all happening! Hope he's OK.

EDIT: Found him too late, he's died. RIP Bob.

R I P Bob. Who'd want to be the Pakistan coach. That would have to be one of the toughest jobs ever.

.... and Flintoff has been suspended. He knows how to prepare for a match.

Bob was lined up to be the next Engerland coach, til he dropped dead. Duncan's got a few more months now.

Yeah i heard they found blood and scratches on his neck. Surprised this story hasn't quite blown up more, cos its potentially the biggest sporting scandal for years. But thats the popularity of cricket for you.

Theory thats been blowing around for 48 hours is that the West Indies match was fixed, and Mr Woolmer found out, and was nobbled before he could tell anyone.

I see this as a case for our resident 'cracker' Tim. :evil4:

It made the daily tabloid today in the city, and we never hear about cricket.Unless of course, a murder may be associated with it.
