Daft Punk/LCD/CSS @ O2 Wireless in June?

They don't play in Brazil anymore, you know. They are "big stars" now (at least in their minds).

I saw CSS live last September. They're still shit. All style and zero substance. And boy are they milking it....since that gig in September they've played Glasgow a further four (!!!) times and they're playing at Tryptych in a few weeks time then again at the Connect festival. That will be seven gigs in one city in less than a year.

Good to hear from you Monty and will be posting my Hooky/Pottsy photos at some point later today:) and thanks everyone for the info about CSS. Got to admit it's more Daft Punk/LCD I'm interested in seeing and haven't really heard anything of CSS to make any judgements on how good they are. I've never seen Daft Punk before and they've been touted as interesting live so would be something I'm definately up for! Cheers!

it is pretty good, i got it the other day, not bad, although was quite put off after i bought it, Joe whileys on the radio calling them super cool, a kiss of death surely

If anyone buys a ticket to this at full price they should be aware of the fact that this festival, as usual, will nowhere near sell out and they will probably be giving tickets away in boxes of Cornflakes come June.

Like I said loads of style, a kooky image and absolutely nothing of any substance beneath it all. They're gigging their arses off cos they know nobody's gonna be interested in a years time. "Making hay while the sun shines" and all that.

Musically though, they're pleasant enough on the ear. Plenty of melody, and a bit of edge. "Alala" is a classy little choon. Remind me of Client when they rock out a bit.
