Come on, most people on here probably like DM enough that they've bought a couple of albums. Same goes for The Cure.

I think they're the music of New Order, the style of Duran Duran. Its those stupid fucking haircuts and leather pants.

Hang on "hair & leather pants" er,why does that sound familiar?

I agree. I don't quite understand all the DM & Cure bashing around here. Maybe some people aren't comfortable with their sexuality? :nervous:

Nothing, really. I don't like the idea of generalising based on music tastes.

I'm not one to generalize either Leather Girl..But your Flag does look like a sore bumhole,in general terms.

It implies that it was the "most popular band" in 1990 when I graduated and all girls loved them so you had to love them one way or the other ;)

That's actually how I got into New Order.... Sebastien gave me mixed tapes of Depeche Mode, and seeing how I liked them, he did me some of New Order afterwards.

Then he got me into The Cure....

I bought almost all singles, many bootlegs... I had them all, was hunting all rarities and stuff... I spent a lot of money in that collection.

But with time, I slipped... I still buy their new albums, but I listen to them a lot less these days... of course, maybe New Order would be the same without NOOL... I can't say!

It implies that you like two guys who play melodic music on synthesizers, one guy who sings quite well, and another guy who's made a career out of clapping his hands.
