syurely the less visited foreign language ones should be lower?

Good question. Most of this site is pretty much dead these days. Don't think Spotnick has that much time to spend here either at the moment.

Secondly, i think that all the forums seem to be merging anyway nowdays. Nic could probably do away with half of them. Weekly song reviews need only be up when theres something new to talk about. Same goes for buy sell trade that could easily get posted on BCD.

moving buy/sell/trade to here would cause problems with people complaining that their serious selling/buying/swapping posts were being shoved down the board by people posting random crap........Which is what most of us think BCD is for
Still waiting to hear the logic behind quiet forums "using up bandwidth" and folk thinking combining everything will save on bandwidth?

I meant basically deleting all the old threads. There are pages and pages of stuff we dont need on here. But im not really computer minded,so could be taking shit. It wouldn't be the first time!

Getting rid of the older threads is a good idea but combining forums wouldn't really make any difference. An unused forum takes up bugger all - if any - bandwidth and getting rid of individual forums like Buy/Trade/Sell etc would just swamp the main forums and make the place harder to navigate for any specifics yer after.
Personally, I've always thought State Of The Nation is a slightly pointless forum, it could easily be done away with because it's not like the site is swamped with loads of polls anyway. Let people post them (within reason) in DR or BCD.
Weekly Song Reviews should be renamed Bi-Annual Song Reviews as well.
