The Daleks scare everyone shitless, I defy anyone to think of a scarier "bad guy".

Not so fond of the new cybermen, particularly cos they haven't said "resistance is futile" so that I can correct self righteous trekkers at every opportunity. But also because they don't do on camera, that which they did off camera back in the day, but could get away with now, that being, tearing fuckers limb from limb.

There's a double parter on the way called "daleks in manhattan", I'm hoping for dialogue like.....

"Goddamit, this here's america, you can't just...." "EXTERMINATE!!!!!!!!" "YYYYYYYAAARGGGHHHHLLLLLLLAAAGGGHHHHH"

Just hope they continue to not make the Daleks gay. That first Dalek episode with Eccleston, it came so close to being "hugh the borg" all over again, a touchie feeley fuckin Dalek. But the Daleks are one of those TV creations that take on a life of their own, defining how they can be written, as if the Dalek told the writer "no you fuckin don't!!!". I adored it essentially begging for mercy, yet barking "Obey OBBBBEEEYY", and all it's crocodile tears to get Rose near to it, priceless. I think anyone who had never seen Troughton's "Power of the Daleks" might not have sussed the sneaky cunt out as quick as me, in that one they groove about telling people "I am your servant", and nearly choking on the words, until they're quite ready and it's exterminating time.

I just hope the Cybermen in scouseland make it back with their chestplates still on

then again, the greatest Doc of all, was a scouser.
