Was bored shitless tonight and decided to go to the piccies. Didn't want to make Rowan Atkinson any richer by seeing his other Bean opus and decided to try Hot Fuzz out instead, given that it was produced by the bunch that bought us Sean Of The Dead. Fooking glad I did. Any other fans of this film? Feel free to comment on what you reckon some of the best bits are. If you haven't seen it yet, go see it or get it out on DVD:D

Didn't think it was that funny, per se.
Just very clever with its nods to other genres.
Good film though.
And nice to see Rob Gretton in CID.

I've gotta admit that seeing Coogan and Consadine's names being mentioned in the review blurb about the movie had a bit to do with me seeing it too. I suppose being an Aussie I always like to see someone unmercifully taking the piss out off authority figures, be they government/company beaurecrats, the military or the coppers.

I'm going to go see it...just for shits and giggles...
Shaun of the Dead was pretty solid so Hot Fuzz is on the list of films to see when the baby stops crying list...
