NEVER has a city had such misplaced delusions of grandeur than Coventry.Good hospital mind and many thanks to the doc who got the tiny splinter of wood out of my eye the other day :thumb: Extremely skilled chap

Nice cathredal too.Er ,that's it

The football team are so still obsessed with their solitary moment of glory in winning the 87 cup that they have 1987 as part of their phone number  SAD

I think it was that book 'Football Factory' that started with one of the best lines ever to a book - "Cov are fuck all"

I was always led to believe Coventry was the most bombed City during WW2. I would have thought it was London though

Also, why do we 'send him to Coventry' when we stop talking to people??? Why don't we send them to Old Trafford, for a proper mute experience, instead? :evil4:

After extensive research, I've discovered the term 'Sent to Coventry' actually relates to Winston Churchill ignoring the warnings that Coventry was to be heavily bombed by the Nazis..Wadda ya know! Lousy Tory Cunt :evil4:

Speaking of Coventry, I put together a 20 track Best Of The Specials CD this arvo. Mainly made up of most of the first album + Gangsters, Ghost Town, Longshot Kick De Bucket, Moonstomp & Guns Of Navarone.

Fookin class

Being a cov kid I agree with most comments, but we do have a lot to shout about to, music is on the up and 'The Enemy' signing to stiff records should be the start, check our covstock 4 festival and also band I manage called 'Trailer' who can be found on myspace and the net also. just been named BBC's local band of the month, http://www.bbc.co.uk/coventry/content/articles/2007/03/26/botm\_april\_trailer\_feature.shtml
