A shed with Roman columns? That's rather creative.
I think this guy went over the top.... "grape lights" -- "Two time zones (Britannia and Rome time")?

Or maybe even in the style of a Viking mead-hall... ![]()

But that's a Viking boat-shed, Ron... A mead-hall full of fit Valkyries would be much better...

Looks like the aftermath of my last BBQ...
We could always just invite some young Swedish birds instead...

Morning Mick. Do any of the sheds here have potential for you?

Bloody fucking hell.

15 July is when independent internet radio in the USA dies. And that's going to fucking suck. ![]()

*from, of all things, a MySpace bulletin from an independent band called Winter's Thrall*
July 15th is when independent internet radio in the USA dies.
Bands - this means you can't get exposure for your music via internet radio anymore. At least, *not in the US*.
You can't give your songs away - SoundExchange is going to collect royalties on your music (if you can find anyone to play it) anyway - and if you don't pay to register with them, they're going to keep the money they make from your recordings. More here: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2007/4/24//870
Anyone remember those big piles of burning books in Berlin around 1937 as the Nazis effectively homogenized German culture?
There is of course still plenty of independent internet radio happening in other, more enlightened countries. My guess is all us listeners in the US will simply be typing in different URL's to listen to new music.
If I were a not-for-profit independent US internet radio broadcaster I'd be registering my domain with a .de, or co.uk... and finding myself a nice German or British hosting company right about now.
