So in summary he spends the entire 2 series trying to get back to the present day/his conciousness then when he finally does he decides he doesnt like it and jumps off the top of the building

Yep the mixed up fella couldnt cut it in the bureaucratic modern society and decides to ditch all he believed in (for 2 series) and that the Gene Hunt method is the way to go.

Cracking series and a likely winner of several awards. The only downside is poor imitation ITV dramas of similar will follow:nono:
