First Single You Were Given

only one I can think of that someone gave me was "Drummer Man" by a band called "Tonight" in around 1978.

oooh that's the first single i bought! yeah yeah, that's another thread, i know...

Um...I think it might have been 'funky gibbon' by the Goodies.

No one ever gave me a single, but the first one I bought was "Ava adore" by Smashing pumpkins. Until then, I either bought or was given albums.
