I had it in my pocket once by mistake, and saw a traffic warden trying to stitch me up. I'd parked in a residents bay where the sign had fallen off, and she was issuing me with a ticket, and walking across the road to take a picture of a sign on the opposite bay, to support her ticket. I got the camera out, took a pic of her taking a pic, and she hastily withdrew the ticket.

I think they used to put bleach in "not a proper dog really" food. That way old ladies did not have to deal with little foo foo or fluffy making nasty brown poopoos. A spate of bleach related rat-creature-called-a-dog deaths put a stop to it. My theory anyway.

Na, rubbish!!!!
back in the 70's/80's peeps used to give their dogs proper bones fromt butchers, dunt happen these days cos they throw bones/send them off for "recycling".

Simple, they changed the ingredients in Pedigree Chum. Real meat went into it, rather than bones and bollocks.

Not just for boys! I had a GI Joe for my Barbie doll. Ken was far too wimpy for her......

Did the GI Joe get carried away and shoot her in the back by mistake when the enemy came into view?
I was always more on the side of COBRA, after all they had the cooler uniforms. I guess I was going through a bit of a fascist/terrorist/vagely homoerotic phase when I was a kid...![]()
Anyway, I always liked the "I can see you but you can't see me!" COBRA Commander set-up (the helmet-with-glass look) over the wimpy cloth mask one. You knew that one good gust of wind and Cobra Commander would be revealed for what he is...Donald Rumsfeld.
Something you don't see anymore: Donald Rumsfeld jokes
(I still think he should go on trial for being a bad, evil guy)

Oh, how often I got beaten senseless for mentioning that Action man [1] was in factg...a DOLL!
I wonder if my hatred for people believing stupid things goes back to those kickings :D
[1] Like GI Joe, but fights people who can fight back, and makes some effort not to kill more friendlies than the enemy.

Bollox, misuse of military resources.
Everyone knows action man's tank was never to be used for anything other than it's owner to sit astride himself and bomb down driveways, streets, playgrounds and presumably on the mainland, motorway slip roads.
Things that I haven't seen in several years: Cassette tapes VHS tapes Pagers (Actually, I haven't seen one in more than ten years.)
