The only one of the bunch that I have seen was Layer Cake, which I thought was ok, not the greatest but I have seen worse.

Loved Lock, Stocked. Much better than its later cousin Snatch, that seemed to be a complete, more money-induced copy.

Morse doesn't really count IMO as all of his investigations involved the cosy middle/upper class academics of Oxford not shotgun toting 'blaggers' in Hammersmith on John Thaw's alter ego Regan/Sweeney patch. Never really liked Morse anyway kind of had the impression that if you saw one of the episodes - namely a Oxford academic/politician/mover and shaker gets bumped off by rival/love interest etc. you'd seen them all. Cheers!

Great film, but Carter edges it for me. Caine looks cool as fook while Hoskins wears suits that make you side for the IRA.
