That was SO wrong, Popey, and you know it. ![]()
Gonna kill time, or something, in the chat. Maybe I'll get bored and tired. I don't know.
P.S. Hope you like your new pet. ![]()
The Pope has a point about going to bed that early.......unless you have to get up for your job (or whatever) at 2 a.m. the next day, which I do once a week. Thankfully, a couple of drinks takes care of that problem, even in the midst of summer. :beer2:![]()

And nothing will depress you more faster than not sleeping :(
I work nights and, come the summer, have to try to sleep in a south facing room, with a black roof and a road too close to allow an open window.
These days I seem to go DAYS with little or no sleep, then go through a couple of days in a state approaching narcolepsy, where keeping my head up for more than 10 minutes is actually PAINFUL!
You have my sympathies madam.
i've got the cure for insomnia: just whack it (or diddle it)... works like a charm every time...

Go do something recklessly fun with some friends to get rid of the depression... ![]()
Besides, sleep is overrated. ![]()
"Then I guess she had to crash valium would have helped that bash She said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild". They little blues will help lift your blues too, or you could try a few "moggies" (Mogadon) if, paraphrasing, like "Jackie your just speeding away thinking your James Dean for a day".
(Got two hours last night and none today/tonight, and now it's 7:36 am my time).
Now I have that early 90s Techno track running thru my head and i can't sleep now... bastards!

I feel the need for a cold shower whenever I see a certain avatar.

This probably doesn't help in the slightest, but I had insomnia since I can remember, maybe 3 or 4 years old. Could never stop thinking. Found some of the best ways to beat it is by exercise followed by a cold shower, or sometimes just getting up putting on some really bright lights than lay down immediaitely in a dark room.
for some reason I met my wife, and my sleeping problems disappeared. Haven't had any sleepless night in the eight years of marriage......so there's hope yet.:)

Drink a glass of vodka. Don't mix it with anything sweet or caffinated. It works better than Nyquil.

Pah. It's all in your mind, Jonno. ![]()
Otherwise, nothing better to do on a night like this, really. It's a Thursday, no work tomorrow, but chuffed to podge! it gets boring trying ever-so-desperately to find ways of killing time.
And so this wonderful case of insomnia has begun. W00t.
