For this brave little terrier that lost his life protecting 5 kids from 2 attacking pit bulls.

My hats off to you George, and I give you a moment of silence for your bravery.

That's one gutsy wee dog that one.....earned top dog status in puppy heaven, no doubt there:thumb:

Bless his paws, brave wee man.

You'd think the vets would have made a fucking effort for him instead of the old "fuck it, kill him, he's loadsa work and he's only a dog" shite. They never destroy people ($DEITY knows they ought to with a few), and I refuse to accept that canine physiology is THAT different.

Bless him. That is really sad. Maybe they should have destroyed the owner of the two pit bulls given that the article said that they'd previously launched other unprovoked attacks. They shouldn't have been in a position to do this.

People like that make me sick!

Well done George. What pupose do pit bulls serve apart from mauling small children? It seems to happen every few months in the UK, shouldn't they be banned full stop?

I don't trust them at all. When I was in high school, my buddy's mother was washing the dishes, when their pit bull jumped on her, took her head in his jaws and cracked it and killed her.

I shudder to think I played with that dog. It was very friendly, never beaten or mistreated. I guess the females have a tendency to turn like that.

Pitbulls shouldn't be pets.:nonono:
