Another thread i think. Tough call. Its a better side vs this bizarre destiny thing that always goes on with L'pool in these situations. Kaka could do with breaking a leg in the next couple of weeks.:evil4:

I don't hold much hope either, we've lost to every team in the play offs, thats not a good omen.

Congrats to Inta-Don and Jack, it's almost too bad you couldn't have won it at Stamford Bridge, eh?

Sorry, if I didn't cry like a 4 year old on these boards when it happened but most fans are made of sterner stuff than the oiks who post on here.

You get used to it after a while! But I guess that's just football, you have to take the Highs with the Lows.

Newell did indeed get the chop. And, in truth, rightly so in the end. At least the likes of Saaarfend and Leeds always knew they were in a relegation dogfight. He kept making all the wrong noises as we plummeted and he refused to accept our predicament. Which never got any better. First thing Blackwell did was drop the only two players who were both assured a place in Newell's team and who were both, basically, the reason we were in that position in the first place.

Er, still didn't make any difference mind!

As they say, there's always next season!!

Amen to that. If Man U / Chelsea / Liverpool were ever to get relegated, I swear they'll set up a helpline, just like when Take That split up.

Woke up this morning with barbed wire stuck in my throat! (for a change)

Bet United hearts were pretty unstable whilst watching Arsenal yesterday! :evil4:

We were shit! Fair play to Chelsea for totally playing us off the field and again showing Arsenal just how flawed the team is at present.

Well done to United.

Looking forward to the same Premiership race next season between Chelsea and Manchester United....

Most exciting moments (for this season) in the most boring and least competetive league in the world would have to be; Reading and the relegation battles.......

Can't believe that it's over. That's it. This section the Premiershi- for this year that is. The base fact that it apart from Luck it is. all. about. the Dollar. For scoutin' the Players etc.s skills. Not all too appropriate yet, always enjoyed the Lines  Divided by Loyalty. United by Grief.

Nice to see Ball make his mark on the Derby.

And on that cheating little twat's ribs. I hope they hurt like fuck.

The rest of England's not forgotten the World Cup, even if Utd pretend to.

Fair play to them though - they deserve the League this year.

Best season in ages, IMO. Looking forward to Wed's game.

For all the who-har i've taken over the past week, we've actually won a major title and could still take the FA Cup. Yet Liverpool fans seem to think getting to the CL final is BIGGER than that, and if you lose, you'll actually win fuck all this season.

Well said mate.

United pretend that they are not pissed at missing out on the European final. 'Big fish small pond' syndrome
