No, but my mates wife has the Megane and he reckons their a solid car, better than a Fiesta of Corsa.

The choice was a sporty clio,an old grandads fiesta or a new shape corsa which drove like a fookin tank,so i think i got the best option!

Got to admit Ron your Aussie V8 muscle cars like the Holden Monaro or Ford Falcon Typhoon F6 are solid gear and I'd love to drive one of them. You don't know where I could hire one as I'm hoping to come to Aus at the end of the year. Regarding the Clio I think I'd choose that one as well from that bunch although the Ford Fiesta ST may be something interesting. Cheers!![]()

They don't sell Clios or Fiestas her with less than a 1.6. Even my car is a 2. Having said that anything less that at least 3.5 liters here isn't really considered a car.

Nuts - do you not thing a Clio looks a tad gay for a big fella, plenty other smaller cars with little bit more street cred e.g. Seat Ibiza sport...
I have a clio...........172 sport and its like shit of a shovel not much can catch it or keep up with it. My second clio there great little cars, but the sport..brill car.
Oh and never had any issues or problems and both were from new.![]()

How very dare you sir! ![]()
AS i mentioned before, there wasnt really much of choice so i went for the sporty looking clio!
Although i saw one of them new punto's 2day and i fookin loves em ![]()
Other factors are that i only passed mi test last november, and owt over a 1.2/1.3 were talking megabucks for insurance, i've got a very tight drive so width is an issue (but not for lady
tho!
)and it is one of the most economical cars in its class.
Admittedly being a large bloke does cause a few problems (but lady
aint complainin!),but i've been driving lady
's ford Ka (armadillo, easter egg, bean tin) for the last few months without any probs, and i would say that the Ka is a tad more iffeminate than the clio!
AND i have never liked seat cars, they look cheap and tacky, dont even knoe how much they are new either ![]()
