Have got the Millenium 'All Time Best' 50 on the iPodicus though!

I've got the last "All time top 50" he did in 1982 "going to stop doing that now as it's getting a bit too predictable". No1 is Anarchy in the U.K and most of the rest is JD stuff; Atmosphere, New Dawn Fades, etc. More interesting is the 1983 top 50 wilt Blue Monday (surely not) at no1. He says in his intro that he wanted to fix the result so that it wouldn't win. Think he wanted robert wyatts "Shipbuilding" to win... 83 Also features "Back of Love" and "The Message"

He did another "All Time Top 50" in 1999 for the Millenium.
It was a proper throwback again - LWTUA, Teenage Kicks, Atmopshere, White Man in Hammy Palais, Anarchy in the UK!

I seem to remember tonnes of gabba and hardcore featuring in the latter years. I'm pretty sure Glasgow's finest happy hardcore exponent, Scott Brown was in the Top 10 of one of Peel's last ever 50's. This is a bloke who still dresses and wears his hair like it's 1991 (think early Keith Flint when he was just a dancer) and DJ's at the likes of Rezerzection Revisited and Back To The Future.
Utterly bizarre to think of him on the Festive 50 but then I guess that's what made it so interesting. A gabba track followed by Napalm Death followed by Hugh Masakela!
