Now women in uniform, that's another matter. You should have seen the police woman who visited me last week. well she'd be a stunner in or out of uniform.
Perhaps I should arrange for another burglary or commit some sort of crime myself. Ah well I'll never see her again.

On the one hand, there's something kinda pathetic about it, like finally admitting that you have no interpersonal skills whatsoever and you can't attract someone on your charm alone. But on the other hand...it's that or the other hand, right?
I'm on the fence about it, because I think it's something that is worth exploring if only because it's an interesting new approach to the age-old dance. Someone made the point about people not being who they really are when they're online, but you could argue that no one is really "themselves" when they go out on the first or even second date. You have to be charming to an extent, and then you unload the dirty laundry, the obsession with David Hasselhoff, and the constant references to sheep sex on the poor girl and see if she's got the stomach for it 
I think internet dating that leads to actual dating is the best, plenty of people talk themselves into believing that they have a "relationship" with someone just because they email back and forth but don't meet for fear that the other person is a fugly-in-disguise. You need the personal one-on-one contact to make sure you're just as charming in person as you are online, but it is fun to interact with someone online because you can show off your personality very well that way as well.
And hey, it beats masturbation

And the last one I met before (from the net too) is a friend of 10 years now.
Sure, if you are not a shy person, what's the point.. ;) but if you are, it's a great way to introduce yourself...
The only "problem" would be liars, but I never met any, and I don't lie on who I am neither, so...

I think she must have figured that it wouldn't matter on the day because I was already sufficiently interested, or something like that. Not a chance!
Internet dating can be a bit of a challenge, it's certainly different from picking up people in bars etc. Mind you, do people have the same thimg for breakfast every morning, or a bit of variety occasionally?
Looking back now on the time I spent internet dating, it was on the whole good fun, and I would recommend it to anyone, whether you can pull successfully without the internet or not. It's an extra string to the bow.
