It looks decidedly fake, if the people havent been "added" by the Early Show for comedy value then I'd be surprised.

What type of show is the Early Show anyway?.. news or satire or what?

As for advanced, its clearly not, or a problem wouldnt exist. GWB is talking about making it advanced.

Well, for one the fences along the border are not chain link, like in the video. The military has been helping the Border Patrol build these for years, and I directed the building of about 5 miles of fence and 2 miles of stadium style lights in Arizona. We built the fences out of railroad tracks and a thick metal corrigation. The areas that aren't built up yet have barbed wire on metal posts. They've been upgrading the fence for about 30 years, but the border length is quite long and pretty much it is the difficult areas that are left.

So yes, that video is staged, but it is good humor.

Sorry mate thought "most advanced border in the world" would have made it pretty clear what I thought of the "advanced" claim that Bush made.

I , hard to tell on such a small video, but it looks real enough to me. An' it just feels like a (real) classic Bush moment too!

But maybe's Edel's right?! Funny as fuck anyway (and true, even if not literal truth).
