Mate, the "improvement" you get from that barely registers on the most expensive test kit.

I never seen a gold plated terminal or terminator of any kind in the BBC, and they kind of invented high quality audio. Of course maybe the brass ones were really tarnished gold....oh yeah.... Now, SOLID gold plugs, and gold CABLE with gold SOLDER, and we're talking. Remember your signal path is only as good as the shitest link.

Of course if you mean "don't buy moulded plugs and use bell wire to bi-wire your £1000 B+W speakers", then sorry, that's fair play.
