Doubt it'd work in the way intended, the designers have obviously never heard of The Sacred Band of Thebes, seems pretty obvious that lovers would/will fight harder, longer and with a greater will for survival/winning than non-lovers. Anyway what if it did work? First they kick your arse then they shag it!
