The same goes for Spanish films. :thumb: We used to have guy at work who would always tell us when to watch one.

Ahh... the telenovellas [or tele-novels, basically]. Used to watch 'em when I was younger. I'd name a few off the bat that I can recall, but then I'd be wasting my breath.

But yeah, worth checkin' out, even if you don't know da lingo! :thumb:

As in "half naked ladies bouncing up and down, with close up shots on the breast with oiled-down barechested poolboys" risque?

Than...no.

but if you mean "they talk like a family in clothes that cover up every inch of their body and never coming close to insinuating sex" risque?

Then yeah, lots of that!:thumb:

So what EXACTLY do you do with this when you're bored????

Never mind....I probably don't want to know.

too bad Mexico won...., I think I wound up rooting for Iran in last year's WC matchup.

Speaking of being bored (combined with football)....yesterday I watched the Simpsons episode where Springfield erupts in violence after a soccer riot breaks out between Mexico and Portugal (Homer then wants to go buy a gun to protect his family), Homer's pre-match line of "I'll kill myself if Portugal doesn't win" had me in stitches, almost as the scene where Homer tells Marge "Close your eyes, I've got a surprise for you!" and she opens her eyes to see that gun pointed in her face.

univision and telemundo are the only ways to watch football without the super extra premium sports channels...(or if you're in a good enough city without cable!)
