Due to a uncharacterstic set of circumstances (ie - I had a free ticket), I saw Georgie Porgie play at the City of Manchester Stadium last Friday.

Unexpectedly, I really enjoyed it, not least because he started with a gorgeous cover of Tim Buckley's "Sing to the Siren".

Does this mean I'm (a) losing my critical faculties or (b) I want to dress up as a copper and have George wank me off in a public toilet?

That's strange....

I almost went on Sunday due to the fact that tickets were going for half price, it was a nice sunny day and I live less thatn 5 mins from Hampden. I texted BIGINOIL on Sunday morning asking pretty much the same questions as the Doctor did above; would going to the concert make me "pure gay". He answered in the affirmative so I didn't bother.

i'd have held up my ticket and burnt it outside the ground, in front of a bunch of his sad female fans.

When he played "I'm Your Man" I let out a little sex wee.

Did he play "Fast Love"? Best British soul record of the 90's.

Lots of posh motors parked round my way Sunday night. And a weird mix of housewives, their chubby partners and a large contingent of the completely FABULOUS.

For me, the really disturbing thing here is that you got a 'GM Version' of the wonderful Tim Buckley's 'Song To The Siren' which should never be covered by anyone except This Mortal Coil.

I hate to think what kind of GM product will be leaking out of those nastily tight white jeans in the near future... :eek3:
