Fuck Morrissey

Show in Philly on Friday is postponed on Dr.s' orders.

i don't like morrissey. i think of him and a tv transmitter tower in black and white in a video with an r.e.m.song going and he lookslike he just steppedout of an episode of the andy griffith show.

chances are good he would've gotten pissed at the crowd and left after 3 songs anyway. at least you'll get your money back now.

I really dont get the whole Morrissey thing. If he was all that he wouldn't have been dropped by the major he was on. The Smiths made some good albums, but were only round 5 years.

I've seen him on TV, cant say i've seen him live, but he seems to be a parody of anything he'd have been against in the eighties. Sequin suits, massive neon lights spelling his name? FFS.

Anyway, I'm DELIGHTED that these shows have been cancelled. Simply because one cunt who has made fun of my misfortune with last years Germany trip has gone over to see the two shows before the MSG gig has gone over on his own and they've been cancelled. Hah!

I seem to be agreeing with you a lot today! I wish Morrissey would just go back into the retirement he'd carved out for himself amongst LA's out of work rock curiosities. A mate of mine who loves the Smiths (like I do) insists on copying every new Mozza album that comes out and telling me that "it's a return to form". I just smile

lol I have to say I'm not THAT busted up about it so I can laugh at this. I would have only been travelling 20 minutes :P

I only wanted to go because a lot of people I dont get to hang out with much in the summer(football pub friends) are going together.

NO,Mozzer has discovered the "horizontal boogie"! Think he was seeing someone in Rome not so long ago(?)

Much has been made of Mozzer's solo stuff not being as good as The Smiths.Whatever anyone thought of RINGLEADER,listen to Vauxhall & I,You Are The Quarry,Bona Drag,Kill Uncle (particularly MUTE WITNESS,a gas!) and Liam? I finally bought Southpaw Grammar.Thanks mate.His solo stuff is a lot more varied than The Smiths,influences from everything from Elvis to Marc Bolan.
