Ive found this on Daily Telegraph:
The floods that have devastated swathes of the country are God's judgment on the immorality and greed of modern society, according to senior Church of England bishops.

Why do all the Jesus freaks have to stick their oar in every time something like this happens? Any time anything goes wrong, they use it as an excuse to shove their small-minded, petty, immature views down everyone's throats. They shouldn't be allowed any airtime.
BTW, that reminds me: the other day I came across the best bit of graffiti ever. It was in a doorway, took up half the wall and consisted of a cross with the words "Jesus is a fictional character" underneath. Possibly the best thing I've seen so far this year!

I used to tell kids in high school that thr Bible is a work of fiction written by an anonymous author, but I was told to go to hell anyway.
Off the subject, Arek, but I was in a Polish food store today in New Britain, CT, and saw a brand of candy called "Arek." Is this actually made in Poland (do you know?) or is it just something Polish made in the US?

I'm a vegetarian, but I've had Kielbasa when I was very young. I mostly go to New Britain, CT, because there are a lot of Polish stores and restaurants that have very good food. I'm not Polish, but Ukranian-American and around Hartford, Polish food is the closest thing to Ukranian food.
