Mind you the whole system is fucked up at the moment with pricks grabbing extra tickets just to punt on a Ebay. A disgrace if you ask me. As I said before, I've got no issue with your old school touts. It's the actual fans of the band, people you're probably gonna stand next to at the gig, who buy four tickets instead of the two they need just to make a few £££ that get on my wick.

On the plus side though, there's nothing more satisfying than buying a ticket off Ebay for half it's face value a couple of days before the gig. I picked one-up for the Editors Barras show for a tenner. When i went to collect before the gig the spotty wee prick asked for more, moaning that he was losing money!! One of the lads I was with explained that we'd just be taking the ticket off him for fuck all if he kept up with his pish!

Daft idea, and one that will only backfire on the venues if it takes off, as the groups/promoters will just do it themselves and take all the cash giving the venue a flat fee.

Absolutely tiny venue (3-400, tops?) and they've got the arena-sized Kasabian playing in three weeks.

No set prices for tickets, they're just auctioning them instead, with the winning price for all tickets decided by the level of bids that come in!

Isnt it all for charidee though? Not the first time they've done this I think. They did a show just before Glasto which was the same I'm sure.

Ban this sick filth. Ethically and morally it resembles the scenario in "Hostel 2" (which I saw yesterday), wherein rich folks bid - via their Blackberries - on an ebay-type thing for kidnapped young lovelies who they later torture to death.

The film was unmitigated shite for the most part, and Kasabian are hardly as hot (literally or metaphorically) as the actresses in the movie, but the logic is the same.
