keep watching you silly South American sod  Attention spans of goldfish. Must be all the coke. :evil4:

And I really wish I called this thread 'Rumble in the Jungle', despite having no interest in wildlife whatsoever. I'm sure it will please the people that watch programmes on bloody meerkats.

Would be a bloody Brit to call it "Rumble in the Jungle" when there are few trees around...that would be called a savannah there Burt...

But it was a great video, wonder if the calf survived all that, or if it died later from the wounds....and why the hell did the lions just sit there around it and not tear into it???

C'mon, it was all staged. The hungry crocodile was thrown in by the site and, of course, it would grab anything. The herd of buffalos "returned" because it was pushed by jeeps or landrovers from the other side of the meadow.

Now, that's what I call a good video.

The buffalo even made it into the Daily Mail yesterday!

Keepers said they couldn't find a corpose immediately after but I can't see the poor little fella would've lasted much longer. Fascinating viewing.

My previous post with a youtube link has 26 million hits as of December 2005. I just discovered a youtube video with more hits:

55 million hits since April 2006!

...all the gullible people in the world...

We must have a different understanding of the term "wildlife" in these parts.
