Most expensive pint

I once paid £6.00 for a pint in a pub in Iceland which i thought was a bit steep.However,a bloke at work reckons that the new Wembley is charging £7.50 a pint.

A,I think he's talking shite.

B,I don't think they sell beer inside the ground.

About a fiver in Denmark, love the place though. Heading to Sweden in October, reckon it will be more expensive. Mate of mine claimed he paid arounf £7-£8 in Swizerland for a pint.

No he isn't, and yes they do! Though the price varies according to the event I think.

FA Cup final was £5.50 which for the shite they were selling is expensive.

Anywhere down south is dear to us northerners though!

its not uncommon to pay $6 for a pint in new york especially if your a tourist.

The Grasshopper in Westerham, Kent used to charge £3.50 a pint in 1989ish, around the time Orbital used to spin the discs, on top of a £5 entry fee.

Always had to get tanked up in a little country 'stay off the moors' type pub beforehand.

anyway, getting a pint at any sports or concert venue is always a last time I was in the Rose Garden (Pearl Jam/Black Francis), bastards wanted over 5 dollars for a 12 cup of *beer*.

Not a pint, granted, in fact not even a decent whisky. Last of the big spenders that night, eh? Mind you it was a fraction of the amount some Kabukicho pimp tried to spend on my Barclaycard later the same night.

You're right, the beers up there weren't cheap either. Stil got the receipt from that night somewhere - they mounted it in a little cardboard holder and gave it to me with two hands.

For that money, they should have mounted it in Noddy Holder and given it to me with two hand jobs.

I went to Oslo with the missus last year, at about £7 a pint it's a good job she doesn't drink.
