Regularly talk to a Mondays nut (like us!!)to help compile gigography etc.. Spoke in June at Sheffield gig said..they were initially planning to overhaull '24hpppfcswo' album with J.Cale at the helm but are having probs with master tapes, pity as they were apparently going to include well early tunes from 85& 86'but not on the early Fac 12". Ya-ho

Bummed definitely needed to be cleaned 
I created me own Best Of The Mondays album donkeys ago and the Bummed tracks are all lower than the rest of the songs I put on the album, so it'll be good to bring that uptae date.
I have most of the 12"s so I already have these b-side bonus tracks thanks to that record player thingy that lets you record vinyl as mp3's. Wonder if we'll see all 458 versions of WFL as well ;)
Still, it will be a good bonus to have the original cleaned up versions.
A digital LOUD remastering of Do It Better would please these ears...
Although, dont really need another version of W.F.L, Oakenfolds was poor, the best version was the Vince Clarke mix. Amazing considering the shite he was capable of as Erasure!
Deluxe 2 disc issues would probably only ever include the remixes of Step On, Kinky Afro etc though surely?

Yeah, can't think of much else for the "Pills, Thrills..." reissue, however I'm hoping that Bummed might finally see "The Egg" make it's CD debut (although, thinking about it, that would be a "Squirrel.." reissue...)... 
Hmmm... Live versions? Demos? Or the multitude of remixes? 
I've got a question for some clever git out there, what was that song you hear at the start of the Live album they put out on Factory with the doll face sleeve (Elland Road gig?), think it was the arse end of an Oakenfold gig before he went dance music mad?

Didn't the 24HrPP single come along way, way after the album of the same name? Could that go on a Bummed reissue? Would be nice to get Wah Wah and Yahoo on CD. Two of my favourite Mondays' moments.
Bummed demo's exist, one kind lad sent me snippets a year or two back. And if memory serves, if you have patience with soulseek, 3 of them appear on there every now and again. Double Good ;)

WFL had a song called "Boom" on the b-side if I remember correctly.
I picked up the CD single in a second hand shop years ago.
Some international copies of Bummed have it as a bonus track.

They played these at my 1st Order gig the Fins..tent 87'- got the tape somewhere. 1st time in the smoke -awesome day That 1st album matches Bummed me thinks.. shit me train leaves for toon' gig in 10 mins

I cant remember how it goes now! At the time i'd never heard it before and liked it, but seeing as i haven't played that Mondays CD for about 15 years it could well be something that nowdays is well known.

Cannae mind the song or the name or the band cos we were a bit stoned and pissed at the time. With a very rough guess I think the band may have been Ruthless Rap Assassins. I do remember the same band (or at least a couple of them) trying to coax down a lad who had climbed the flood lights at Elland Road. All the crowd were shouting "jump" cos we were fed up waiting for the Mondays.
Must listen to that Live CD again to find out! :)

Wasn't the live CD called 'Baby-something'?
All the listing just seem to have it as 'Happy Mondays live' now! 
The Bootleg that surface before the Factory release was called Baby Big Head. Got the vinyl somewhere, its said that Factory themselves produced this as a way of promoting the "official" release.
This would make som sense, as the quality of the bootleg is on par with the Factory version (It even includes Bobs Yer Uncle which WASN'T on the Factory version).
Think the bootleg had a track missing though?
