Are The Killers splitting???

Somebody told me (ha ha ha ha ha get it??) that the Killers were going to call it a day because they felt like they'd acheived all they'd set out to with their last album and world tour - being such a huge band now they were aware that the only way was going to be down. And as Brandon Foghorn Leghorn is such an egotist, he simply couldnt face the prospect of seeing the band start their inevitable decline.

Somebody please tell me this is just an unfounded rumour. After all, if they SHOULD split up, then who the hell have I got now to keep me entertained with such hilarity and misplaced bombast????? Mika doesn't count cos he is a curly haired gimp!!

Yes , it's quite possible .They looked resigned , defeated , embarassed and uninterested in their last video IMO.So it's probably a matter of time

I don't think I could carry on if my favourite figures of fun were'nt still hamming it up in the biz!

After all, before the Killers came along I expended much of my energies into splitting my sides at the Kings Of Leon....and look at the state of THEM now, they've gone and disappointed me by cutting their hair off, shaving their voluptuous hippy beards and become just another anonymous rock band, the bastards.

Here's looking forward to Foghorn's solo career then.

Perhaps they run out of people to rip off. It certainly made me crack up when hearing that tw@ describing the latest album as 'one of the most important albums of the last 25 years', at the time of its release.

Be very welcome split news if its true. Mebbe he could leave and they could bring Mike Flowers in.

I wouldn't mind seeing brandon foghorn naked though. know the leghorn is married but who says ya cant look. i dont give two shits about tha ego....

We can only hope, but seeing they have an album out before christmas its doubtful.

I wouldn't care if they split---in fact, I'd be happy if The Killers did split. But even if they didn't, I don't care either, because I don't even listen to them, nor do I have any friends that listen to them either.

And.....Twas'nt New Order. It was a Stuart Price remix of Mr Brightside,that IS great! Ged on it! However, one swallow,does not a summer make,and I could'nt give a rat's tits about The Killers. I still maintain they are shat,but in a non plussed kind of way I can't muster the sort of hate you harbour for em,but I'll try,just for you Eck Neck...How's that grab ye ?

ANyway, I don't exactly *hate* the Killers, not at all, I just find them completely hilarious and ridiculous. THAT is why I keep taking the piss out of them!
