Who is this guy? What is this guy? Why is this guy?

Like a one-man Scizzor Sisters (really!!!), his stage show even rips off the Flaming Lips and Super Furry Animals with all those animal costumes gallivanting about. Looks like a load of technicolour fun and tomfoolery but I get the feeling that, for all his theatrical worthiness and eagerness to put himself across as a consummate entertainer, he is trying a bit too hard. I can't make my mind up about him cos on the one hand I think he's a refreshing blast of innocuously goofy POP!!! frivolity aimed at making people smile and dance, whilst on the other hand I think he is an evil, devious and calculating force sent from the darkest bowels of A&R hell to torment us with such ridiculously OTT and pretentiously pantomimic farce masquerading as entertainment.

Besides, he has curly hair too, which basically implies that he must be crap!

At The Big Chill Festival, they announced that Mika wasn't playing due to illness - everyone cheered!

And someone changed the quote on the blackboard (displaying Big Chill line-ups) from:

My nephew loves him. I think he's about twelve. Anyone over the age of twelve who even thinks about Mika is missing the point entirely. It's like sitting around debating which nappies we prefer to wear, or whether we like rusks. It's for children.

He seems like a glum, sexless version of Prince, anyway. Clearly talented, a bit androgynous with teeth that could eat an apple through a letterbox.
