I was in Amsterdam Bank Holiday weekend, we must have walked past Madame Tussaud's at least 3 times. We weren't planning to go inside but every time I was surprised at the queues. Is it worth it Nuts? Even for a grope?

Is Linford Christie famous in Holland, just asking like :whistles:

The queue waas horrendous!

we were outside a bar in dam square watching the queue, when it was empty we went over and walked straight in,result!

You didn't miss owt Jemmy, the quality of the waxworks were a bit poor compared to the one in London, although saying that there was one of nelson mandela which was so fookin scary i had to touch it just to make sure it wasn't him, dint feel his bum tho!

Dude, he wasn't able to get a picture, but believe me, he hasn't washed his hand since. In fact, he keeps on smelling his hand.:evil4:

In the middle of Stratford on Avon there's a statue of William Shakespeare with a few characters from his plays.

The statues are all bronze and they are all tarnished, except for the bits that the tourists rub when their having their picture taken. Those bits are all shiny.

Prince Hal's pert little bottom, Falstaff's big belly and the top of Yorrick's skull are all polished to a high shine. Can't remember who the fourth statue is...

no because that's kinda like not knowing the sky appears to be blue or that grass is green.

and more importantly points out that you shouldn't post for postings sake and should prolly know what you're talking about before you hit submit. and whether or not it actually makes a contribution to the thread or if it's just typing to hear the sound of your own keystrokes...

and don't type "oi" it's unbecoming.
