I saw this band in Brighton last night. Awesome. Truly mind-blowing stuff.
Was just wondering if there are any other fans of the band on here and if anyone knows where I can get bootlegs. Would love last nights gig! ![]()

They are going to be here in Austin on Sunday...playing around noon...probably a bit too early for my lazy ass!!!
Haven't bothered with much of their stuff recently... I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One is a stunning album, I'd recommend that as the place to start for anyone who hasn't heard them... No idea for the bootlegs though... ![]()

Snorri, the last album is probably one of their best. On wednesday night they played quite a few tunes from it and it just blew me away... Played a really good set including some of their old "classics" such as "Little Eyes" and "Autumn Sweater". Bizarrely they dedicated their encore to Vic Goddard and played Borstal Breakout by Sham 69... ![]()
¡Yo la tengo!.......that's what Richie Ashburn said (hey, at least he learned something from a foreign language).
I have only heard a couple of tracks off I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your Ass. Going to check out more of their albums too.
Theyre grrrrrrreat! I like them lots. have a few of their albums but they've brought out so many over the last 20 odd years it's difficult to settle for just a top five. A definitive 10CD YLT box set should do the job nicely I think. ![]()

they played autumn sweater? cool.
surely the recent best of two cd set would be the best intro for people?

Yeah, definitely...
Got my favourite YLT track on there too: "From a Motel 6"
