I'd sack the cunt who asked him, just for being thick.

We get more and more like the US every day. :nonono:

Well I had people of 25 years of age looking as if under the age of 18. I told them to take it as a compliment when I asek for the passport ;).

Having said that, he does look a young 72.

I'd pass him for 56 any day!

Not really the kiddie on the tills' fault, it's just a fucking stupid policy that Morrisons had (everywhere, I thought) that wasnt open to any common-sense discretion.

I always used to get asked to confirm I was over 21 in there, I know I look a lot closer to it than the gentleman in question, but its still the only place I have even had it mentioned since I was 18. And when I had a laugh about it with the person serving, they would confirm that they did indeed have to ask everybody.

Note the use of past tense above however(I haven't been asked for a few weeks) they may have finally stopped doing it.

Sadly, people will have to ask me that question now that I am of age to get a drink. It's not just for legal reasons, but people have told me that I look young to be 21.

I still get carded about once a year, I just laugh about it, though it drives the secretaries at work, who try hard to "look young", crazy when I tell them.

I have a sister who is 8 years younger than I am, people think we're twins all the time, or they will ask which one of us is older. She's in undergrad and when I visit her on campus, people think it's nice that we are dorm mates.

I got asked for ID walking into a bar in Florida with my Dad when I was about 22. No probs, just showed my passport and walked in. The doorman turned to my Dad. And do you have proof of your age, sir?

Last time I was over there I was 32 and I got knocked back for having no ID.

Knackers to 'em :finger:

I'd be thrilled to bits to be asked for ID, specially if I was in my twilight years.

Surely it's a compliment:nod:

I was ID'd trying to enter a club in Kings Cross, Sydney........ apparently you had to be over 25 to get in and as I had no ID... I was refused entry...not bad as I was 39 at the time and as you can guess gave up carrying ID years ago. Compliment my arse, I wanted a cold VB.
