The competition was on ITV local website...

There I was, all set for the "Red Carpet Treatment", glad-handing with the "Stars" on an all expenses paid booze-fest to Manchester.

BUT

It turns out the "prize" was just two tix to the opening night... I had to make my own way (from Brighton :nonono: ) and find my own hotel, booze and whores (sorry, did I say that last bit out loud?)

I reckon my sneak preview and a hand-shake with Hooky (if he turned up) would have cost close to two hundred quid.

Think I'll just go and see it in the Duke of York for a fiver.

You should offer the tickets to John, he needs cheering up after last night!

Unfortunately they wouldn't let me pass them on... I was going to get them and offer them up on this site... But the MAN from ITV was mumbling something about registration etc and I just said sorry choose someone else.

There would have been the small matter of getting tickets form Brighton to Manchester. The view is tonight....

Bit gutted actually

no he doesn't. he quickly gets over setbacks, has a moan for a minute, then looks forward to the next match, always thinking of Reina keeping a cleanie, and acquiring those three points.

unlucky mate. who'll be on the red carpet that you won't get to mingle with? Ashley from Corrie? 3 pairs of bronzed perfect tits from Hollyoaks? Fred the Weatherman? Judy & Richard? Bez?

Hmmm... Doesn't seem such a loss when given that wider perspective.

I wonder if there'll be an article on your northern news about it.

No doubt it will feature footage of the er "great and Good" flashing their freshly whitened teeth, botoxed foreheads and lips and siliconed cleavages... What a grotesque thought- the undead of TV!

Er, the Premiere was in Leccy Square on Tuesday, no?

Hooky said so last night.

Said he was gutted cos he couldn't get any tickets for his 'proper' mates and had to hang out with a load of actors instead!

Hmmm, interesting.

I wonder what I "won" then?
