John Foxx will be playing his legendary Metamatic album on Sunday.

I was gonna make Manchester Academy tonight,but I'm skint and I can't afford to turn down a DJ night.Bollocks. Let me know how the gig is mate.Would have been great listening to METAMATIC live.

The last night of the "Metamatic" tour...

As you all know, the show at Cargo is the last night of the "Metamatic" tour, and so it was felt that it should be something really special.

When you arrive at Cargo you'll be able to hear some material from John's recent collaboration with Steve Jansen being played on a loop

• this will also be playing between the change-overs. Instead of a support act, Louis Gordon and Steve D'Agostino will be collaborating on a special one-off performance which will take place before "Metamatic". And, as with the show at the ICA, Steve D'Agostino will be joining John and Louis on stage. Also John Leigh will be VJ-ing live to "Metamatic" - he did an aftershow at the ICA, but this is the first time a VJ has mixed to a live set.

Availability of the Special Edition tour CDs...

I've received a heap of E-Mails about the availability of the "Retro Future" and "Metal Beat" Special Edition CDs. Although they've been limited to 1000 copies each, the plan is to make them both available (either on-line or through some specialist shops) immediately after the tour is over so that anyone who's not able to get to any of the shows will be able to buy them without having to pay 'over the odds'. As usual, I'll post specific details just as soon as they've been confirmed. The same also applies for the newly produced "Metamatic" T-Shirts...

Didn't go in the end - trains to Brighton were f***ing extortionate! I've seen him couple of times already, 2003 supporting the Human League and last year at the Scala gig in Kings Cross. Very tempted though, maybe next time?:)Cheers!
