Sad News

Dina Rabinovitch, the Guardian columnist, lost her long-running battle with cancer this morning. She was 44.

For those familiar with her recent columns, which recorded her struggle against breast cancer, will be sadddened by this news.

For anyone who has not heard of her, you could do worse than spend a few minutes reading the work of this brave, funny woman.

RIP Dina

No ages these days.

Has me in mind of John Diamond.

Sad news,

makes me realise how lucky we were when my mother beat that horrible disease.

Thoughts with family and freinds.

I was a regular reader of her column. Her work was always so positive and even humourous despite of what she had to go through. What courage she had.

44 is no age at all.

RIP Dina.

Lost a great-grandmother to breast cancer, 6 months before I was born. :nonono: According to Grandma she was in her 60's when she died. I think it's still rather young, and so is 44.

Not much else to say other than, condolences and prayers to her family, friends and colleagues.

RIP Dina.
