NOOL just loves the 'best of' threads don't they? Easy opinions that offend no one?
Sorry Pope, nothing against this thread in particular, just a really bad fever and lots of rum don't go well together.....

Happy?

So start a thread of your own if you want SERIOUS OFFENSIVE DISCUSSION. I won't hold you back, but I may get chocolate on the keyboard.
You can't beat a fridge cold Mars Bar or a Bounty. I eat more chocolate than I did as a teen and I can see why people become chocoholics. I also tried quite a few candy bars on my trip to New York but I was impressed by Flawn and Cannoli's.
Not exactly in a 'bar' form, but there's this chocolate they sell over here called 'Bacchus', and it's basically small pieces of chocolate with cognac in them. The box even says, '3.4% alcohol content'. It's only sold in the autumn and winter, though.
Any Englishman answering this needs a damn good slappin'.
It's chocolate, not candy. ![]()

i'm quite sure you have bars and packaged candies that aren't made of chocolate. all else is priggish semantics. veddy briddish.
Mr. Pope, you are discussing culinary delights with people that eat beans on toast (even if it is delicious)...
c'mon?!?!?!

One of my closest mates moved to Bastin eleven years ago.
He's got a 4-year old boy now with the wonderfully British name Arthur (he won't let any American call him 'Arty').
He's brought his boy up on Salad cream and Branston pickle just so's he never forgets his roots! ![]()
(disclaimer: not solely Salad cream and Branston pickle, obviously!)
