yes, there are no other singles charts in the world outside of the uk. fact.
Like The Manics' "Autumn Song"
Plus:
P. Weller & G. Coxon - "This Old Town" Grinderman - "No Pussy Blues" !!! - "Heart Of Hearts" Kings Of Leon - "On Call"

Pope, I seriously hope you're being facetious, because the US still has the Billboard Hot 100. Although the music is generally crap, it still exists.
As usualy, I won't know any of those.
Though I didn't know No Cars Go was released as a "single"... obviously, it seems they get ignored by commercial radios in their own city.

Er, never buy singles (actually, I never buy albums either these days, it's all Soulseeked) but if I did it would be the LCD singles (I'm not even sure what they eventually released in the end?)
"The Bomb" by NYPC - so beloved of Sky Sports footie.
Salmon Dance had some absolute genius mixes too.

Illegal Attacks-Ian Brown Your not Alone-The Enemy Both good..
Either way-The Twang...takes it for me.
Staring at the Rude Boys - Gallows Feat. Lethal Bizzle
Lots of good songs released not many memorable ones.
This is beginning to get me aroused. Just played it four times in a row. OK, its the Wombats, but they dont sing about Joy division all the effing time.
Sister Rose - Ian Brown Michael Jackson (Calvin Harris Mix) - The Mitchell Brothers
Album is a a dead heat between Ian Brown and Radiohead, whose Bodysnatchers is the SONG of the year.
Been a bit shit for singles this year though hasn't it?
No Horse in Foursome - Interpol Smokers Outside the Oxygen Tent - Editors Can't Squeeze a Single Turd - VHS or Beta?
Slim pickin's this year.
